Technology

Mission/Objective:

Technology is all around us and we need to know how to use it safely, productively, and at balanced levels to help us progress now and in the future. Students will be introduced to a spectrum of topics ranging from basic keyboarding to coding and 3-D printing. During the year, OLPH Academy will host guests speakers from a variety of industries including local media, computer science and engineering to discuss how technology impacts their field. Upper middle school students will have field trip opportunities to see technology at work here in our region.
